My name is Arthur, and I’m a Hootsuite and Hubspot certified Content and Social Media strategist. I also write about personal & professional development and leveraging social media to promote your brand.
My journey at North Carolina A&T State University, where I studied public relations and entrepreneurship. I served leadership roles in PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America) while serving two terms as the President of the Aggie Entrepreneurship Club, which serendipitously introduced me to the world of startups.
During my Junior year, I got an internship at the Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship, and it was there where I learned the importance of thinking outside of the box while keeping your feet on the ground and remaining aware what is good for business. It’s like David Ogilvy, the legendary advertising giant once said, “In the modern world of business, it is useless to be a creative, original thinker unless you can also sell what you create.”
In addition, all the invaluable experience I had working with various organizations and upstart entrepreneurs I realized one thing about myself…
I am fascinated by the opportunity to build things from the ground up.
There is something special about going through the process of taking a concept or an idea, putting in the work, and making it a reality. I’ve been blessed to experience what comes from the peaks, and I’ve gotten some scrapes on me from some of the valleys, but that comes along with the territory. It’s easy to sit back and talk about creating, without ACTUALLY putting something out into the world.
I mean, I get it. It’s pretty scary to put something out into the world for people to pick apart. That fear is the same fear that some of the greatest leaders this world has ever seen has experienced. The key is to feel that fear, and step out and create great work in spite of the fact your stomach is in knots. I work with brands to keep pushing towards keep iterating, and reaching new audiences.
